IDS Equity Holdings (IDS) is partnering with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, on accelerating the adoption of green building practices through the promotion of voluntary green building certification programs based on the EDGE (“Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies”) software, standard, and certification system.
IDS and IFC are establishing a framework for greater collaboration in pursuit of their shared aspirations to move the commercial office industry on to a lower-carbon, more resource-efficient path.
As an EDGE champion, IDS commits to adopt EDGE certification for 100% of their development portfolio in the next 5 years, including the company’s full range of office buildings, hotels and resorts currently under construction across the country.
IDS, a leading distressed assets investment company in Vietnam, has successfully earned EDGE certification for their portfolio of grade A office buildings in Hanoi, the Leadvisors Tower and Leadvisors Place. The certification marks the first EDGE-certified green offices in Hanoi and demonstrates IDS’s commitment as one of IFC’s EDGE Champions, a global network of green leaders in real estate development.

As an EDGE Champion, IDS will receive training, technical assistance, global exposure through the EDGE website and social media presence, project marketing support to better explain green benefits to customers, and branding association with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group.
IDS will promote sustainable design practices, and with IFC jointly present the benefits of using the EDGE software, standard, and certification system at mutually agreed conferences, seminars, and other events, and through papers, articles, or research.
